M.J. Clark honored last Friday

DeQuincy Senior forward M. J. Clark was honored before last Friday’s home game against East Beau for his accomplishment of reaching 1,000 career points a couple weeks ago against Pickering.

He is the son of McKinley and Ta’Nisha Clark, He has played basketball all four years of high school. He currently has 1,053 points on the season and is averaging 28.5 points per game in district as well as 17 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.

Clark has also excelled in football for four years earning district 4-2A defensive MVP as well as being named to the LSWA Class 2A all state first team.

We are extremely proud of M.J. for all of his achievements and we wish him the best in his future endeavors!
