Richard “Ric” Allman was born July 4, 1959, and passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at the age of 65. He loved to go swimming in his pool and cracking a cold one. He enjoyed life to the fullest. More than anything he loved his family and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Florence Allman; children, Angelina Smith, Rebecca Allman, Yvonne Williamson and husband Todd, and Jonathon Gearen and wife Kayla; grandchildren, Matthew Gearen, Christopher Williamson, Gage Brown, Rhyder Gearen, Lincoln Williamson, and Adalynn Brown; siblings, Charles Allman and wife Deb, Raymond Allman and companion Roxanne, and Trudy Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Allman; mother, Geraldine Allman; and sisters, Dolores Arndt and Wilma Jones.
The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
