Marilyn Threadgill Legg was born Dec. 26, 1948, and passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at the age of 75. Marilyn was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left footprints in all of our hearts and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Michael Gibson and wife Marilea; sister-in-law, Wanda Threadgill; nieces, Darlene Guasco and husband Alex, and Carol Threadgill; and nephew, Wayne Threadgill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Legg Jr.; parents, Herman and Dorothy Threadgill; and siblings, James Everett Threadgill, Carolyn Threadgill, Ruth Mai, Margaret Maxwell, and Hattie Mae Tyer.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
