Darren Dale Foster, Sr. was born Nov. 16, 1961, and passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, at the age of 63. Darren enjoyed duck hunting, playing guitar, tinkering on everything, and burning up the roads. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children, Deirdre Bradley and spouse Telitta, Darren Dale Foster Jr., and Devin Granger; grandchildren, Maddison, Darren Dale III, Abel, Lane, Jadyn, Rosey, and Adalyn; mother, Henrietta Hollie Foster; brothers, Jimmy Foster and spouse Karen, David Foster and spouse Rose, Harold Foster, and Dean Foster; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth Foster; father, Sam Foster; and nephew, Kenny Foster.
The family received friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20, with the funeral service held 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 21, at First Pentecostal Church in Starks. Pastor Karl Smith officiated. Interment followed at Miller Annex Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
