Fountain Ellis Settlemyer Jr. was born Feb. 4, 1938, and passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, at the age of 86.
He is survived by his children, Tammy Stephens and husband James, Vivian Ginger Grigsby and husband Richard, Fountain Ellis Settlemyer III and wife Shonna, and David Settlemyer; grandchildren, Kristen, Brittany, Caitlin, Tara, Christopher, and Julia; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn Bertrand.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fountain Ellis Settlemyer Sr. and Clarice Davis Settlemyer; and sister, Mary Jo Boudreaux.
A service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, at Apostolic Temple in Lake Charles.
Another service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, at Pentecostals of Baytown in Baytown, Texas.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
