It was a successful Homecoming as the stands of G. Dalton Faircloth Tiger Stadium were full to the top as returning alumni watched the DeQuincy Tigers dominate the Rosepine Eagles from start to finish.
DeQuincy took advantage of Rosepine’s turnovers and capitalized as the Tigers had a commanding 28-6 lead going into halftime.
In the second half it was a lot of the same as DeQuincy continuing to rack up yards and scored three more times, Wyatt and Ty LaVergne did the scoring for DeQuincy as the brothers combined for 222 yards on the ground, Kohen Cormier was a perfect 7 for 7 on extra points.
DeQuincy now has 8 regular season wins for the first time since 1995.
