Nadine Reeves Thompson was born July 10, 1939, and passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at the age of 85.
She is survived by her sons, Brent Thompson and wife, Lisa, Gary Thompson and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Ryan Thompson, and wife, Kristi, Josh Thompson and wife, Alex, Lacy Bradley and husband, Xavier, Jenny Thompson, Jason Daugereau, and wife, April, Haley Johnson and husband Jimi, Dalton Thompson and wife, Camrie; fifteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda Hawthorne and husband, Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Brent Thompson, Sr.; parents, Oliver and Lola Belle Reeves; grandsons, Zackery Thompson and Gary Wayne Thompson Jr.; siblings, Marisce Smith, Blondell Lee and twin sister, Geraldine Armstrong.
The family will receive friends Wednesday Oct. 30, from 10 – 11 a.m. with a funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. at New Life Pentecostal Church. 16803 US-171, Ragley. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Lawson will officiate.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
