Kenneth Lovelady was born Sept. 11, 1959, and passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at the age of 65. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, gardening, and doing carpentry work. He worked in the oil field and was a shrimper for over 40 years. He loved his family more than anything and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children, Kaleb Lovelady and Devon Lovelady; granddaughter, Kendall Lovelady; three sisters; along with numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Courmier; father, James Lovelady; brother, James Lovelady; stepson, Derrick McKay; former wife, Melissa Brindley; and in laws, Mary and Eric Brindley.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
