Rebecca Ann Phillips “Aunt Beck” was born May 5, 1941 and passed away Tuesday, Mar. 17, 2026, at the age of 84.
Rebecca loved cooking, crossword puzzles and cross-stitching. She enjoyed listening to Elvis music and spending time with her family. Her favorite thing in the world was being called Aunt Beck by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her siblings, Phyllis Perkins and husband Clyde, Robert Havens and wife Beverly, and Kenneth Havens and wife Janie; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Phillips; and parents, Robert and Mattie Phillips.
The family received friends Tuesday, Mar. 24, from 12 p.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Bro. Jimmy Clark officiated. Interment followed at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
