Leticia “Levy” Campos Asperstrand was born May 20, 1937 and passed away Saturday, Mar. 14, 2026, at the age of 88.
Leticia was feisty, independent, and full of personality. She had a great sense of humor and a flirtatious charm that made people smile. Always well-dressed, she loved good food, especially sweets. Leticia enjoyed sharing special moments with her family, no matter the occasion. She was incredibly giving and strong in her faith and was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Jeovanna Seybert and husband Steven, Jorie Doyle and husband Geoff, and Julie Roussel and husband Paul; grandchildren, Philip Seybert, Taylor Seybert, Emory Roberts, Tanner Roussel, Daniel Roussel and Colleen, and Zachary Roussel and wife Courtney; and sister, Melinda Lynch; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Imelda Campos; and brother, Fernando Calderon.
The family received friends Friday, Mar. 20, from 9-10 a.m. with a Rosary being held at 9:30 a.m. and
Funeral Mass beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1125 Blankenship Dr., DeRidder. Father Jeff Starkovich officiated. Interment was held at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
