Lady Tigers fall in a nail biter to Many

By Jake McCoy

On Friday, Feb. 20, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers took the long road trip to Sabine Parish to take on the Many Lady Tigers. Just like the game against Iota the night before it was a nailbiter from the start.

Many would take an early lead and kept DeQuincy off the board until the third inning. However, Many would stay persistent with their scoring attack in which DeQuincy only got within one run from tying the game in the top of the seventh, but Many would shut the door on DeQuincy.

Despite the loss, it was a great night for the Lady Tigers’ bats as they produced 11 hits.

Audi Flower was 2-4 with 2 RBI’s, Emily Cooley was 2-4 with an RBI, Maddie Vinatieri was 2-4, Aubree Royer was 1-4, Kayden Whotte was 1-3, Onnie Remedies was 2-3, and Addli Scott was 1-3.

Final Score: Many 6, DeQuincy 5
