Glen A. Woodard, 90, of DeQuincy passed into the arms of his Savior on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026. He was born to his late parents, Lynn A. Sr. and Lelia Woodard on Aug. 27, 1935 in DeQuincy. He was co-owner of Woodard Brothers Memorials with his brother Gene for 30 years.
He appreciated his special relationship with his neighbors. Glen truly felt like they were his second family.
He truly believed in service to others and the value of hard work. Anytime he could lend a helping hand to someone in need, he was there.
He is survived by his two sons, Randy Woodard (Quenna) of DeQuincy and Rod Woodard (Antoinette) of Sulphur; two brothers, Gordon Woodard of Argyle, Texas and Gene Woodard of DeQuincy; four grandchildren, Tate Woodard (Tiona) of DeQuincy, Tadd Woodard (Sunny) of Iowa, Danielle Musgrove (Colton) of Georgetown, Texas, and Ashley Woodard of Sulphur; along with four great grandchildren, Zak Nelson, Jase Woodard, Wes Woodard, and Duley Woodard.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ann Woodard; along with his parents.
A Celebration of Glen’s life will be held at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Steve Taylor officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy.
The family appreciates Allegiance Hospice Care for their exceptional care for Glen. Also, his caregivers Brittany, Mrs. Mindy, and Mrs. Connie for their personal love for him.
