Last Friday, the DeQuincy Tigers made the 2-hour road trip to Zwolle to play against the Jewel Sumner Cowboys in tournament play. DeQuincy got off to a hot start scoring three runs in the first inning, but then Jewel Sumner would answer back with a few runs of their own including a couple from errors committed by the Tigers.
DeQuincy would score one more run in the third ending, but the Cowboys shut down the Tigers offense after that.
Levi Neal was 2-4 with an RBI, Rowdy Griffin was 1-3, Bryce Dyson was 1-3, and Turner Rodriguez was 1-3.
