Darrell Dean Henagan 72, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026 surrounded by friends and family at his home following an extended illness. He will be greatly missed by so many who knew and loved him.
He worked at Turner Industries in Sulphur and retired after 25 years, working in the Training and Development Department.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 26 years, Debbie Henagan; children, Alyx Mullins (Issac), Kashia Spears (Kevin), Brandon Henagan (Courtney) and Christin Dowers (Jake); four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and brother, Jimmy Henagan (Jerilynn).
To know Darrell was to love him. He never met a stranger and was always kind and helpful to whomever had a need.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to Heart of Hospice for the dedication, love and support extended to their family.
A memorial service of remembrance will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Houston River Baptist Church. A gathering of family and friends was held from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the church.
Service were handled by Simple Traditions by Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles.
