Donald “Bronco” Doyle was born July 29, 1955, and passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at the age of 71.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Frankie Doyle; children, Waylon Doyle and wife Patty of DeRidder, and Heather Stracener and husband Ronnie of DeRidder; grandchildren, Haylee Wardrup and husband Ashton, Bailey Doyle, Raylee Doyle, Kable Doyle, Emberli Doyle, and Adlee Stracener; great nieces, Layla Roberts, Grace Roberts; his good friend, Tom Harris and his family; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones that considered Donald as their father figure.
He was preceded in death by his parents, B.C. “Duck” Doyle and Lula M. Perkins Doyle; brothers, J. P. Roberts, Paul Roberts Jr., Otis Roberts, and Homer Roberts; sisters, Joyce Roberts, MaryLyn Roberts, and Dorathy Beah.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27, and will continued from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, 124 Bob Nichols Dr., DeRidder. Pastor Clyde Snider and Rev. Glen Alexander will be officiating. Interment will follow at Whitaker Cemetery, in DeRidder.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W Fourth St., DeQuincy.
