Glenn E. Craft, 89, of DeQuincy passed away on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. He was born to his late parents, Norris and Velma Craft on Nov. 14, 1936 in Midland, Texas. He retired from Beauregard Electric as a lineman. Glenn loved hunting and fishing, and was an avid reader of Westerns and his Bible. He was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in DeQuincy.
He is survived by his loving wife, June Craft; two children, Dedra DeLouche (Jay) and John Glenn Craft (Bridget), both of DeQuincy; brother, Billy Ronald Craft (Gerry) of Woodworth; sister, Joyce Lee Hillman of Alexandria; five grandchildren, Kayla Puryear, Kirstie Vacker, Tiffany Havard, Savannah Havard, and Tyler Craft (Megan); along with nine great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Parker, Eliza Craft, Callen Craft, Madden Vacker, Kamdyn Vacker, Jase Puryear, Kendoll Puryear, Madisyn Havard, and Brendon Havard.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; one son, James Lynn Craft; along with his siblings, Michael David Craft, Delmon Craft, and Anita C. Perry.
A Celebration of Glenn’s life was held at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy on Monday, Jan. 5, at 12 noon, with Bro. Jordan Doyle officiating. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Monday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Cold Springs Cemetery in Anacoco.
