Donald Fredrick Peek was born Feb. 25, 1942, and passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at the age of 83.
He is survived by his children, William H. Peek and wife Tammy, and Donald Wayne Peek; grandchildren, Brittany H. Burleigh and husband Travis, and Emily Michelle Peek; great-grandchildren, Gavin Daniel Burleigh, Gunner Jacob Burleigh, Blake William Harbison, Baker Allen Brockelbank, and Beau James Shipp; sister, Becky Peek Tatum and husband Phillip Tatum; and nieces nephews, Lee Peek, Jimmy Peek, Rachel Lovell, Ramona Hollis, Robyn Hall, Carolyn Carbonell, Dorothy Crye, Susan Wilson, and Burnetta Peek.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Elaine Peek; parents, William Fredrick Peek and Velma Viola Peek; siblings, Ruby Peek Collier, Shirley Peek Goss, and James Peek; brothers-in-law, Ralph Collier and Jack Goss; sister-in-law, Burnetta Peek; and nephews, Perry Peek and Tom Peek.
Cremation has been entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
Services will be held at a later date.
