Freda Gail Tillman was born Sept. 12, 1958 and passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at the age of 67.
Freda loved spending time with her friends and family. She liked preparing meals for her loved ones and enjoyed great fellowship with those around her. Freda loved big and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
She is survived by her siblings, Charles Tillman and wife Stephanie, Kievien Tillman, Antonio Tillman, and Virginia Griffin; nieces and nephews, Charles Tillman Jr., Jeremy Tillman, Yancey Tillman, Zachary Griffin, Ryan Tillman, Jacob Tillman, Andrea Curmiel, Shane Tillman, Jennifer Stoker, Kimberly Tatum, and Joel Tillman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Tillman; mother, Dorothy Lou Tillman; sister, Connie Tillman; and brother, Glenn Tillman.
The family received friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 4, at First Pentecostal Church of Starks. Pastor Karl Smith and Rev. Alfred Gibson officiatied. Interment followed at Miller Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
