Suprena Buck, Director of Nursing at High Hope Care Center & Rehabilitation in Sulphur, has been honored with the Director of Nursing of the Year Award from the Louisiana Nursing Home Association (LNHA). The award recognizes outstanding leadership, dedication to quality care, and excellence in nursing management within Louisiana’s long-term care community.
Buck received the award during the Louisiana Nursing Home Association Annual Convention and Trade Show, held on Monday, Nov. 3, in New Orleans. The annual recognition celebrates nursing leaders who exemplify professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of residents across the state.
With 28 years of nursing experience, Buck has played a vital role in advancing resident-centered care and promoting teamwork at High Hope Care Center. Under her leadership, the facility has strengthened clinical outcomes, staff engagement, and overall quality of care for residents and their families.
