Alpha Jean Thompson was born Apr. 11, 1948 and passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025 at the age of 77.
She is survived by her children, David Pippin (Lillian) and Jack Pippin Jr.; grandchildren, Courtney Bond (Kenneth) and Allison Myers (Byron); great-grandchildren, Gage, Emmalynn and Sebastian; and siblings, Carolyn Hollis, Marsha Perkins and James Thompson.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields. Rev. Mike Streams officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
