Stanley Clark

A homegoing celebration celebrating the life of Stanley Noe Clark will be held Saturday, Sept. 13.

Stanley was born Aug. 10, 1970 and passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025. He was a native of Starks. At the time of his death, Stanley was living in Vidor, Texas.

He is survived by two daughters, Ikeala Clark, San Antonio, Texas and Nashandra Clark of Temple, Texas. He is also survived by his parents, Gilbert and Mildred Clark of Starks, two sisters, Charlotte Nash (Michael) of Starks, and Bridgette LeDay (Donald) of Fenton; two nieces, Kierra LeDay and Mykiya Nash; and two nephews, Jalen LeDay and Chefon (Drez) Clark.

Stanley was a graduate of Starks High School and honorably served his country for 17 years. He entered the Navy in 1989 and left the Navy on Oct. 11, 2006.

He served eight years at sea duty including Desert Storm. He served on the Marvin Shields, USS Cowpens, USS Conolly, USS Vicksburg and the USS Vella Gulf.

He was doing Sea Duty/Security at Virginia Beach in Norfolk, Va. at the time of his discharge.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Cathedral of Faith MBC, located at 2549 Moeling St. in Lake Charles.

Visitation will be from 8-10 a.m. with family expressions from 8-9:30 a.m. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Ville Platte.

Officiating will be Pastor Kenneth Smith, Sr. and the U.S. Military.

Arrangements are being handled by Stevens Funeral Home in Lake Charles.
