Tracy “Bimbo” Benoit, born June 27, 1971, youngest son of Lawrence and LouAnn Benoit of Iowa passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the age of 54.
Tracy was a beloved brother, uncle, great uncle and friend to many. Known to his family and friends as “Bimbo”. He was a simple man who loved fishing and being with his family and friends. A resident of Iowa, DeQuincy, Beaumont and Houston, Texas he was a devoted friend to all he met along the way.
Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Lana Guidry (Vic), Rhonda Borel (Phil); brother, Raphael Benoit; their children, Victor Guidry (Rachael), Ali Gayhart (Derrick), Lawrence Benoit (Ashley); and their children, Ella, Greyson, Sammy and Cooper
Awaiting his arrival in Heaven are his mom and dad; his brothers, Clyde, Ruben, Rufus, Michael; and his nephew, John Cooper.
A Celebration of Life was held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Monday, Aug. 4, at 6:30 p.m. Gathering of friends and family began in the funeral home at 5-7 p.m.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
