Cortez “Tezzy Bhoo” Deshawn Boston, 26, died Friday, July 4, 2025. He was born in Louisville, Ky.
He is survived by his mother Nataki R. Boyd of Spring, Texas; father Eric L. Boston of Louisville, Ky.; and bonus daughter Makenzlee Williams of DeQuincy; grandmothers, Vivian Boyd (Dorothy Compton-Boyd) of DeQuincy, Brenda Frazier of Louisville, Ky.; great-grandfather, Andrew Boyd, Jr. of Pass Christian, Miss.; brothers and sisters Naukira Boyd of Baytown, Texas), Christari Morris of Louisville, Ky., Kendrick Kaneki of Houston, Texas, Keontra Kenemore of Houston, Texas, Ken’nyia Kenemore of Houston, Texas, Kyi’Ren Kenemore of Spring, Texas, Eric Boston, Jr. of Louisville, Ky., and E’Rontae Boston of Louisville, Ky.
He was preceded him in death by his grandfather, Richard Gray; and great-grandmothers, Dorothy Boyd, Susie Boston, and Edna Moody.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 25, at Evergreen Baptist Church in DeQuincy. Eulogist was Minister Brandon Harris. Cremation services followed and were entrusted to King’s Funeral Home in Lake Charles.
