Allen Joseph Landry was born Jan. 29, 1923, and passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the age of 102.
Allen proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was also a member of The Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy.
He is survived by his children, Lynette Landry, Timothy Landry and wife Nelle, Joel Landry and wife Claudia, and Leah Mouret and husband Troy; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Royce H. Landry; parents, Honore and Mathilde Landry; and siblings, Edmond Landry, Ulysses Landry, Eunice Ladoucer, Marjorie Landry, Mary Broussard, and Myrtle Grisiaffi.
Pallbearers were Jeff Spikes, Jeremy Landry, Colton Fontenot, Jared Landry, Asa Landry, and Corey Kendall.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday, July 25, with the funeral service being held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 26, at The Pentecostal Church, DeQuincy. Pastor Wayne Neyland officiated. A graveside service followed at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 26, at Beau Pre Memorial Park in Jeanerette.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
