Calcasieu and Beauregard Parish top-growing schools

Calcasieu Parish

Following the recent release of LEAP results from the Louisiana Department of Education, the Calcasieu Parish School Board is among the top-growing districts in Louisiana for the 2024-25 school year. The two-point growth in the district again puts Calcasieu above the state average in third through twelfth grade students performing at or above grade level.

The top-growing schools in Calcasieu are R.W. Vincent Elementary with an eight-point increase, Vinton High with a seven-point increase, and DeQuincy Middle with a six-point increase.

These results mark the final LEAP data release under the current accountability system. Results for the year ahead will be calculated under a revised system from the State.
