Robert E. VanWinkle was born Oct. 14, 1943, and passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, at the age of 81.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Joan VanWinkle; son, Rayford VanWinkle; grandchildren, Tracey Pearce, Ryan VanWinkle, Anthony VanWinkle, and Tori Walston; and great-grandchildren, Nori, Nicolas, Ezequiel, and Benjamin.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina VanWinkle; and parents, Doss and Inez VanWinkle.
The family will be holding a private memorial service to honor the life of Robert.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
