Marsha Arrant Chaisson, born Sept. 2, 1972, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at age 52.
Marsha was a rock for her family, she was loving, funny, and a bit stubborn. She was a loving daughter, mom, and wife. Marsha enjoyed traveling, cooking, and time with loved ones. Her spirit and faith touched many, and she will be deeply missed.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:9
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Kevin Chaisson; son, Jack Chaisson and future daughter in law, Klaudia; parents, Roy and Janice Arrant; brothers, Chad Arrant and wife, Meg and Patrick Arrant and wife, Kimberly; mother-in-law, Linda Chaisson; sister-in-law, Kelly Chaisson; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in passing by her Paw Paw and Nana, RC and Lola Mitchell; and father-in-law, Hewitt Chaisson.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, May 22, in the Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons, 315 N 14th Street, Kinder. Visitation continued Friday, May 23, from 10 a.m., until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Reed Chapel. Rev. Glen George officiated.
