Lisa Gaye Johnson Keen was born Sep. 28, 1959, to Jimmy and Elizabeth Bishop Johnson in Huntsville, Texas, and passed away Tuesday, Apr. 22, 2025, in Tomball, Texas, at the age of 65.
She is survived by her daughters, Brandi Keen-Montalbo and Destiny Yancey and husband Lawrence; grandchildren, Kaylie Keen, Ashley Novell and wife Jenson, Kylie Keen, Dalton Gillen, Lillian Gillen, Lawrence “Bubba” Yancey II, Ashley Yancey, Johnwayne Yancey, Justin Yancey, Cody Yancey, Kyle Harris and wife Felicity, and Matthew Harris; great-grandchildren, Ava, Lilly, Riley, Angelena, Lawrence, Eliza, Cole, Greyson, Sabrina, Weston, Jr., Jaxon, and Kaissidy; nieces, Tracy Korpi, Amy Pouncey and husband DJ, and Angie Haltom and husband Jack; great nieces and nephews, Jeremiah, Abigail, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, Emma, Riley, River, Trey, and Kevin; along with numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Kyle Keen and Chris Keen; parents, Elizabeth and Jimmy Johnson; sister, Anne Johnson; and grandparents, Alice Louise and J.D. Johnson, and Eunice and Benjamin Bishop.
The family received friends from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 26, at McAdams Chapel in Huntsville, Texas. Interment followed at McAdams Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
