Lady Tigers Beat Fairview
On Monday, Apr. 7, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers traveled to rural Allen Parish to take on the Fairview Lady Panthers in non district action.
It was a great win over a very good class B opponent.
Maddie Vinatieri went the distance while striking out 8 batters.
Emily Cooley was 2-4, Audi Flower was 1-3 with 2 RBIs, Maddie Vinatieri was 1-3 with an RBI, Onnie Remedies was 2-4 with 3 RBIs, Bryah LeDay was 1-4, Aubree Royer was 1-3, and Bella Moore was 1-1.

Lady Tigers Sweep Vinton
On Tuesday, Apr. 8, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers traveled down Edgerly road to take on the Vinton Lady Lions in their final district game of the season.
The Lady Tigers were looking to sweep the Lady Lions for the first time in two years and they did just that as the Lady Tigers’ bats would explode with 12 hits and the defense playing lights out to preserve the well earned victory over they’re arch rival.
Maddie Vinatieri was fantastic in the circle going the distance while only allowing 4 hits and striking out 10 batters.
Emily Cooley was 1-4, Audi Flower was 2-3, Maddie Vinatieri was 1-4 with an RBI, Onnie Remedies was 2-4 with 3 RBIs, Olivia Oden was 2-4 with 2 RBI’s, Bryah LeDay was 2-4, and Bella Moore was 2-4.

Lady Tigers fall to St. Louis
On Thursday, Apr. 10, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers hosted the St. Louis Catholic Lady Saints in non district action.
Olivia Oden was 1-3, Onnie Remedies was 1-3, Maddie Vinatieri was 2-3, Bryah LeDay was 1-3 with 2 RBIs, Bella Moore was 1-2, Aubree Royer was 1-3 with 2 RBIs, and Kayden Whotte was 1-3.

Lady Tigers beat Delcambre
On Saturday, Apr. 12, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers played the Delcambre Lady Panthers in the Kaplan Tournament to play two games and the first would be against Delcambre.
Bella Moore would go the distance in the circle while striking out 5 batters.
The Lady Tigers would collect a whopping 13 hits in the game.
Emily Cooley was 3-4 with 2 RBIs, Onnie Remedies was 1-4 with an RBI, Maddie Vinatieri was 1-4 with 2 RBIs, Bryah LeDay was 2-4 with an RBI, Aubree Royer was 3-4 with an RBI, and Audi Flower was 3-5 with an RBI.

Lady Tigers fall in close game
On Saturday, Apr. 12, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers played the Mamou Lady Demons in the Kaplan tournament. This would be game two of the tournament for the Lady Tigers.
Emily Cooley was 1-4 with 2 RBIs, Olivia Oden was 1-4, Bella Moore was 1-4, and Audi Flower was 2-3.

Starks Lady Panthers win district championship
The Starks Lady Panthers have won the 2025 District 5-C Championship in undefeated outright fashion after defeating Singer 10-2 last Thursday.
The Lady Panthers will most likely enter the Class C playoffs as a top 4 seed and they should have a very strong chance of making in appearance in the state tournament at Frasch Park and possibly the Class C state championship.

Merryville Lady Panthers are Co-District Champs
The Merryville Lady Panthers and the 2025 District 4-1A Co-Champions with Grand Lake.
The Lady Panthers will most likely enter the Division IV Non-Select playoffs as a top 15 seed and possibly a top 10 seed.
We want to wish them the best of luck on their quest of winning a state championship!
