Jorge Reyes, 30, of Spring, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Mar. 18, 2025. Born in Houston, Texas on Sept. 24, 1994, Jorge was a devoted husband, loving father, and a kindhearted son, brother, and friend whose warmth and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mellissa Reyes, and daughter, Sophee. He also leaves behind his parents, Maria Neri Reyes and Hector David Reyes; his godparents, Mirna and Valentin Rodriguez; his siblings, William David Reyes and wife Leticia, Alan Miguel Reyes, and Ingrid Guadalupe Reyes; and his grandparents, Carmen and Teodoro Reyes, and Estela and Evaristo Reyes.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 25, and continues from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Mar. 26, at Christ Tabernacle in Huffman, Texas.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
