Nancy Perkins was born Oct. 13, 1933, and passed away Monday, Mar. 10, 2025, at the age of 91.
She is survived by her children, Ralph Allen Perkins and wife Susan, Joseph Lane, Terri Lynn Sharbino, Zelma “Denie Bo” Perkins Kelly, Randy Perkins, Quinetta “Tiny” Perkins Miller, Marlene Perkins Hyatt; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 39 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Nora Stanley, Daisy Stanley and Archie Rufus Stanley; son in-laws, David Kelly and Kieth Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Perkins; parents, Amos Stanley and Clara Doyle; brother, Boyce Ray Perkins; sons-in-law, Anthony Ray Hyatt, and Lester Sharbino.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 12, at Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. The visitation continued from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday Mar. 13, at Lunita Pentecostal Church. Pastor Chris Billiot officiated. Interment followed at Doyle Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
