Joan Ellis VanAernam was born Feb. 22, 1950, and passed away Sunday, Mar. 16, 2025, at the age of 75.
She is survived by her husband, William VanAernam; children, Kevin Spears and wife Kashia, Wesley Spears and wife Kristin, and Scott Spears; grandchildren, Madi Spears, Myles Spears, and Everly Spears; great-grandson, Chase Spears; and brother, Tommy Ellis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Emily Ellis.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
