James Calvin Phillips was born Aug. 26, 1961, and passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, at the age of 63.
James enjoyed fishing and watching birds. He loved his family more than anything and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Gwin and husband Kaleb; grandchildren, Avril Gwin and Vallen Rivard; mother, Rose Gibson; and his great-granddog, Fluffy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Phillips; and grandmother, Furbie Phillips.
Cremation has been entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
