Serafin De Alarcon was born June 8, 1955, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, in Lake Charles. He enjoyed architecture, cooking, and different music artists. He was very loving, always happy, outgoing and the life of the party.
He is survived by his children, Agueda De Alarcon and spouse Ewing De La Cruz, Seraida De Alarcon and spouse Juan J. Millan, and Betzaida De Alarcon and spouse Raymond Esquilin; grandchildren, Desiree Cruz, Mileena Cruz, Cristian Cruz, Aranza De Alarcon, Yojam Maldonado, Yanuel Esquilin, and Yan Esquilin; and great-grandchildren, Nahshon Lora Jr, Laleyshka Fuentes, Ethan Rosario, Dwayne Rosario, Kamyla Ojeda.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Serafin De Alarcon Muniz and Rosa Ocasio; two sisters; and three brothers.

Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
