Mildred “Midge” S. White was born Nov. 26, 1945, and passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at the age of 79.
She is survived by her children, Chris White and wife Erin, Donnie White and wife Jan, Mike White, and Tina Stanley; grandchildren, Kristy England and husband Michael, Karen White, Alexa Stanley, and Gunner Stanley; great-grandson, Tyson White; brother, Richard Sharp; sister-in-law, Carolynn Sharp; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alton “Gene” White; parents, Lucille and Evert Sharp; siblings, Beverly Gott, Malcolm Sharp, and Evert H. Sharp; nephew, David Gott; and friend, John Simon.
The family received friends 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at First Baptist Church in Starks. Pastor Ron Butler officiated. Interment followed at the VFW Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
