Singer holds off Starks 74-70
The Singer Hornets defeated the Starks Panthers in what was a crazy game last Thursday in Singer. The game was neck and neck the entire time until the Hornets drew a couple of fouls with less than a minute remaining in the game. Singer would make a couple of free throws just enough to keep the Panthers out of reach which would be the difference as Singer would defeat Starks 74-70.
Avery Mitchell led Singer in scoring with 36 points, Aiden Tompkins had 14, Kohlson Moore had 13, Kaiden Richard 5, Cassion Cooley had 4, and Isaac Clark had 2.
Cole Doucet led Starks in scoring with 45 points, Kaison Howard had 11, Braden Halloway had 6, Nate Gore had 4, Kylan Beniot had 3, and Cody Harrison had 1.
Lady Hornets beat Starks at the buzzer!
The Singer Lady Hornets defeated the Starks Lady Panthers in dramatic fashion at the buzzer last Thursday in Singer.
The game was very close the entire time and the Lady Hornets made a lay up with 2 seconds remaining which ultimately ran out as the ball went into the bucket. Singer would defeat Starks 47-45.
Landri Sandifer led the Lady Hornets in scoring with 26 points, Breezy Mitchell had 7, Hanna Johnson had 6, Chloe Logue had 6, and Cheyenne Schultz had 2.
Tayla Holloway led the Lady Panthers in scoring with 22 points, Madelyn Nolen had 14, and Sadie Barrow had 9.
