The Starks Lady Panthers Basketball team began District 5-C action at home last Tuesday against their rivals, the Singer Lady Hornets.
The game was neck and neck until late in the game when the Lady Panthers went on a 15 point run to pull away for good as they would go on to beat Singer 41-25.
Madeline Nolen led the scoring for the Lady Panthers with 22 points, Sadie Barrow had 10 points, Sarah Barrow had 6, and Tayla Holloway had 3.
The Lady Panthers will travel to Singer on Thursday, Jan. 30.
