Milbre Ione Howard was born on May 5, 1938, in DeRidder, and went to her heavenly reward on Thrusday, Dec. 12, 2024, in San Angelo, Texas, surrounded by family.
She is survived by one sister, Donna Pittman of Conway, Ark.; two sons, Kevin Britt Howard of St. Louis, Mo.; and Russell Vaughn Howard and his wife Josie Roth Howard of San Angelo, Texas; three grandchildren, Christina Sauls and her husband Doug Sauls of Midland, Texas, Donald Howard and Aleesha Howard of San Angelo, Texas; three great-grandchildren; Riley Sauls, Kenzley Sauls and Doug Z Sauls, all of Midland, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Milbre was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Howard; father, Harvey Mock; her mother, Irene Mock; one sister, Frankie Hulett; brothers in law, Joe Pittman and Lester Hulett; and daughter in law, Pamela Howard.
Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Beauregard Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
