Tigers edge out Grand Lake

By Jake McCoy

Many folks were on the edge of their seats for four grueling quarters last Thursday night down in Grand Lake as the now 5-0 DeQuincy Tigers escaped the Hornets’ nest with a well earned 10-7 victory over the Grand Lake Hornets.

It was by no means an easy task as Grand Lake can be a very tough place to play for any team. DeQuincy was no different as Grand Lake made the Tigers earn every yard. With the win DeQuincy earns their first 5-0 start for the first time since 1984!
