Pamela Ruth Bass Williams was born in Starks on Oct. 21, 1952, and passed on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, at the age of 71. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, and baking. Her favorite hobby was collecting memorabilia on “Tweety Bird.” Pamela was a lifelong member of the Pentecostal Church of Starks. She was faithfully involved in the Ladies Auxiliary work at the church.
She is survived by her son, Jayson Williams; grandchildren, Samuel Williams, Christopher Williams, Bailey Williams and Ashton Williams; brother, Jerry Bass and wife Jane.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Don L. Williams; her parents, Floyd and Vera Bass; and brothers, Robert Bass and Floyd Bass, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the visitation on Friday, Oct. 11, from 5 – 8 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church, 225 Hwy.109 S, in Starks. Funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. at First Pentecostal Church in Starks. Burial to follow at Clark Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
