Kenneth Miers, 67, was born in Seattle, Wash., and passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024. He worked as a dedicated lab employee in the chemical industry at Westvaco for 38 years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Miers of DeRidder; daughter, Sara Miller and Sean of Baytown, Texas; brothers, David Miers of Singer, Jimmy Miers of Singer, and Michael Miers of Merryville, sister, Lorraine Kerbow of Singer,; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Maul, Sr.; and parents, Walter and Arlene Miers.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Brother Jimmy Clark officiated.
