Kathy Gibson Malone was born Mar. 8, 1949, and passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at the age of 75. Kathy loved going fishing and cooking for her family. She enjoyed taking her family shopping with her, especially to Burlington and Ross. She also took care of her family, she loved them more than anything.
She is survived by her children, Connie Eaves and husband Rajiv, and Dixie Rice and husband Chad; grandchildren, Jacob Gainey, Kaylee Eaves, Karron Rice, Sherrin Rice, and MaKayla Rice; siblings, Carolyn Ness and husband Leif, and Lanny Gibson and wife Shelia; sister-in-law, Wanda Gibson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Malone; parents, Weldon and Edna Doyle Gibson; brother, Steve Gibson; and nephew, Rusty Ness.
The family received friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7, and continued from 9 a.m., until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, at First Pentecostal Church in Starks. Interment followed at Fountain Cemetery in Starks.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
