George Daniel Baker, 56, of Ragley died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024.
He was born in Demopolis, Ala., where he attended Demopolis High School. He moved to Ragley in 2017 to work for Turner Industries as a rigger for more than 25 years.
Survivors are his wife, Michelle Baker of Ragley; children, Tyler Vidrine (Kylie), and Justin, Kaleb, and Destiney Vidrine, all of Moss Bluff; father, Blair Baker and step mom, Frances Baker of Hohenwald, Tenn.; a sister, Della Hawkins of Gallion, Ala.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Baker; and grandparents, Ezelle and JW Webb and Roy and Regina Baker.
Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. There will also be a burial service in Demopolis, Ala.
