Verna B. Dunham was born on Oct. 20, 1950, and passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, at the age of 73.
Verna was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Robin Yellott, Lynn Dunham and wife Sally, and Charlie Dunham; grandchildren, Jared, Jordan, and Faylee; great grandchildren, Chevy, Greyson, Garrett, Owen and Adlee.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Roger Dunham; parents, Burley and Letha Ball; sister, Vera Lou; and brother, Burley Ball.
The family received friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, at Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Funeral was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home. Interment followed at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
