Willard “Happy” Buxton was born on Mar. 5, 1956, and passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at the age of 68.
He is survived by his siblings, Dennis Buxton, Carol Bryant and husband, Robert, Diana Spears, Chris Buxton, and Danny Buxton and wife, Jayme; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded by his parents, Downs and Wanda Buxton; siblings, Gail Nichols, Bill Buxton, and Roger Buxton.
The family received friends from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12, the funeral began at 12 p.m., at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Mike Streams officiated. A private burial was held at Good Hope Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
