Willis Howard, a resident of Starks, passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024 at the age of 74. He was the owner of Starks Truck and Auto and he was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Howard; children, Derek Howard and Denise Howard; grandchildren, Gunner, Alexis, Khole and Margot; and his brother, Clyde Howard and wife, Linda.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Bessie Mae Clark Howard.
The family will receive friends 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. The visitation and funeral will be held at Calvary Apostolic Church, 4270 Hwy 12, Starks. Pastor Jeremey Shields will officiate and interment will follow at Clark Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
