Linda Jarrell, 81, was born Aug. 22, 1942 in Nebo and passed away in Nebo on Friday, Aug. 2, 2024.
She is survived by her husband, Felix Jarrell; children Tracy Brock and husband, Rex, Richard Floyes and wife, Carole, Grady Jarrell and wife, Trudi, Suzanne Lewis and husband, Russell, Christopher Jarrell; grandchildren, Noah, Christian and wife Abbie, Brelin, Tyler and wife, Amy, Isabelle, Trenton, Logan and Brianna; and great grandchildren, Maverick and Mackynzie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Jefferson, and Myrtle Masters Collins; sister, Sharon Bradford; and brother, Isaac J. Collins.
The family received friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, with a 5 p.m. funeral service at Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church, 1384 LA-460, in Jena. Pastor Curtis Thornton, and Rev. Gary Davidson officiated. Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Jacob Shannon Evergreen Cemetery in Dobbin, Texas. Rev. Steve Wehrle officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
