Joanie Sharleen Royer was born Feb. 24, 1960, and passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the age of 64.
She is survived by her daughter, April Alaniz and husband Adam; grandchildren, Anna Pack and Avery Alaniz; sister, Lori Thrower and husband Mark; and brothers, Darryl Royer and wife Lucy, and Kenny Royer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Nell Royer.
The family received friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 2, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
