Mary Calva Jean “Jeannie” Parker was born Dec. 8, 1946, and passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the age of 77.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin “Arkie” Parker; children, Brad Parker, Kevin Parker, Kim Dickins and husband Sammy, Eric Parker, and Amber Smith and husband Garett; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, John Parker and wife Janice, Jason Parker and wife Laurie, and Randy Parker.
She was preceded in death by her children, Calvin Edward Parker and Bryan Keith Parker; parents, James and Revanel Rainwater Parker; and brother, James Kenneth Parker.
The family received friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Thursday, July 25, the funeral service was held 10 a.m., Friday, July 26, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Pastor Austin Clark and Rev. Mike Streams officiated. Interment followed at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
