Nora Anne Harris was born in DeQuincy. She attended Grand Avenue High School, Mossville High School, and Calcasieu Parish Sheltered Workshop. She became an excellent baker of cakes. She was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church of Westlake and Our Lady of LaSallette Catholic Church of DeQuincy.
She died Monday, July 8, 2024.
She is survived by one sister, Rose (Albert) May; three brothers, Father Whitney Harris, Rev. James B. (Linda) Harris, and Joseph Walter (Carolyn) Foster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Harris Jr. and Ida Carmon Harris and two sisters, Mary Lee Esther Harris and Audrey Harris.
Funeral service was held Friday, July 12, at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church under the direction of James Funeral Home in Lake Charles.
